ANNAPOLIS, Md.-TeleCommunication Systems (TCS) will provide MoviStar Puerto Rico, a Puerto Rican wireless operator managed by Telefonica Moviles, with enhanced 911 Phase II services.
TCS’ Xypoint Location Platform and Hosted Position Determining Entity will provide the ability to determine a caller’s precise location within seconds and to route the call and deliver critical data to the local public-safety answering point, according to TCS. Five carriers now use TCS’ Hosted PDE solution.
