PLANTATION, Fla.-Motorola Inc. announced a teaming with Bobby Jones Sportswear to offer a mobile phone branded with the golfer’s signature and logo for Nextel Communications Inc. subscribers.
“Motorola designed the Bobby Jones Trophy Edition phone with the executive golfer in mind,” said Rey More, senior vice president and general manager for Motorola’s iDEN Subscriber Group. “Because of its golf-influenced look and its advanced communication features, this is the phone of choice for the true golf aficionado.”
In other device news, AT&T Wireless Services Inc. announced it will sell the new color screen BlackBerry 7210 from Research In Motion Ltd.
