LONDON-Wataniya Telecom, the Kuwaiti mobile operator, has completed the second phase of its GPRS infrastructure expansion plans. The network will now cover the whole country.
This part of the expansion plan saw the Action-branded high-speed data and multimedia messaging services, launched at the start of July, available to customers across Kuwait. Action delivers a range of MMS and GRPS-related services to mobile-phone users in Kuwait.
“With full network coverage across the country, we expect the momentum of usage for Action services to increase dramatically as we continue rolling out at least one new service per week over the next two months,” commented Fuad Al Ablani, assistant general manager of Wataniya Telecom.
