SAN FRANCISCO-MetroPCS Inc. said its customers now can access the Metropolitan Transportation Commission’s 511 service, which provides transportation information in the San Francisco Bay area.
MTC introduced the free service in December. It includes voice-recognition technology to allow for hands-free use and provides transit information, traffic conditions and highway construction updates, as well as carpool matching, parking options and bicycle routes.
