MARLBORO, Mass.-Rogers AT&T Wireless will use Telica Inc.’s Plexus 9000 Gateway Mobile Switching Center application to handle network traffic more efficiently and to facilitate the operation of its dual TDMA IS-136 and GSM/GPRS networks.
“The deployment of the Gateway MSC architecture into our network is a significant step in ensuring that we continue to provide excellent wireless service regardless of technology,” said Jim Smith, vice president of engineering for Rogers.
