SYDNEY, Australia-Portal Software said it is the official billing partner of Personal Broadband Australia, the Australian wireless broadband company backed by U.S.-based Arraycomm Inc.
The portal solution for the Australian firm includes end-to-end rating, billing and customer management to support several account models, including wholesale, retail, prepaid and postpaid. Portal will also provide transactional real-time processing that can pre-authorize usage and track start, mid-transaction and stop times of mobile broadband events as they occur.
Personal Broadband, which uses Arraycomm’s iBurst technology, is scheduled for commercial availability later this year, Portal said. A commercial trail of the service is currently under way with 400 OzEmail and Vodafone customers.
