SANTA CLARA, Calif.-Intel Corp. and Sony Corp. have agreed to work together to enable users to access music, images, videos and other entertainment applications on cellular phones and personal digital assistants.
The Sony Music Entertainment division will leverage Intel’s Personal Internet Client Architecture.
“The two companies also plan to co-develop future applications and services for Intel-based phones, including applications that will enable consumers to use PC-based multimedia content on their cell phones,” said both companies.
