LONDON-LogicaCMG said Portuguese mobile operator Optimus has deployed its Wireless Service Broker product, which will enable Optimus to deliver mobile Internet services based on WAP 2.0 and multimedia messaging services.
The LogicaCMG technology will replace existing infrastructure and enables the carrier to improve its content, browser-based mobile Internet services, the supplier said.
Optimus has more than 2 million subscribers. LogicaCMG said more than 50 customers currently use its Wireless Service Broker technology.
