Virgin Mobile tops U.K. customer satisfaction report

LONDON-Virgin Mobile U.K. said it received the lowest number of complaints in the latest customer satisfaction report from U.K. telecom regulator Oftel compared with the other five U.K. mobile operators.

Virgin Mobile offers a mobile virtual network operator service in the United Kingdom.

From April through September, Virgin Mobile had less than 0.1 complaints per 1,000 customers. Orange, O2 and T-Mobile each had 0.2 complaints per 1,000 customers. Vodafone U.K. had 0.1 complaints per 1,000 customers. Orange was the only U.K. operator whose performance during the period was worse than the previous period.

Hutchison 3G U.K. Ltd.’s third-generation service was not included in the report.
