Following are mobile infrastructure contracts announced in November:

Philippines. With Digital Telecommunications Philippines (Digitel) for GSM/GPRS and EDGE equipment, including radio base stations and mobile switching equipment.

Value: $100 million

Ericsson

China. With Guangxi Mobile Communications Co. to supply GSM network equipment in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.

Value: $56 million

United States. With Dobson Cellular to upgrade its TDMA digital wireless network in Alaska with 850 MHz GSM/GPRS/EDGE radio-access equipment.

Value: $8 million

Nokia

Philippines. With Globe Telecom to roll out an EDGE network in metro Manila.

Value: Undisclosed

Nortel

Israel. With Partner Communications Co. for a 3G UMTS wireless network.

Value: $93 million

Siemens

Oman. With Oman Telecommunications Co. (Omantel) to supply and install base stations and fit GSM technology along main highways linking the cities of Muscat, Nizwa, Ibri, Beidbeid and Sur.

Value: $40 million
