PARIS-Location-services company Maporama announced it gained a new investor, a move that comes as the company will restructure its executive line-up and refocus on international markets.
Maporama, which sells location technology to businesses in the United States and elsewhere, said Sydney Drahy will join as a new investor and the company’s chairman. Dominique Grillet will serve as chief executive officer and will work with Laurent Vermot-Gauchy, the company’s new chief operating officer and the founder of the company.
Maporama said it will focus on mobile applications for fleet management, sales force support and location-based services for telecommunications carriers.
