SAN JOSE, Calif.-Stratex Networks Inc., which provides wireless transmission solutions, introduced its ProVision V element software management system.
The ProVision V software suite is designed to optimize performance while lowering the operating costs of wireless transmission networks, said Stratex. The software was developed along with the company’s Eclipse wireless transmission system and included input from Network Operating Center users and field engineers.
ProVision V is scalable to manage 10,000 network devices. It is a platform-independent client server solution that can be supported on either Solaris 8 or Windows 2000 operating systems, said the company.
The company field tested the product in Malaysia and Thailand.
