EDINBURG, Va.-Rural provider and Sprint PCS affiliate Shenandoah Telecommunications Co. added 4,100 customers during the fourth quarter, ending the year with 85,100 subscribers. The company noted a reduction in churn from 2.8 percent in the fourth quarter of 2002 to 2 percent last year contributed to growth. Revenues increased $2.8 million year-over-year during the fourth quarter to $18.7 million, while revenues for the year increased $11.5 million to $67 million last year. Net income also increased $5.7 million year-over-year from a loss of $5.4 million in 2002 to a return of $300,000 last year.
