SAN JOSE, Calif.-Wireless synchronization company Pumatech Inc. announced it changed its name to Intellisync Corp. and began trading under the Nasdaq stock symbol SYNC on Feb. 18. The company said the move builds on the strength of the well-known and internationally recognized Intellisync brand and officially brings together several technologies obtained through the company’s recent acquisitions.
During the past year, Intellisync acquired Synchrologic, Spontaneous Technology, Loudfire Inc. and Starfish Software.
Introduced in 1996, Intellisync is desktop synchronization software with over 90 percent of U.S. retail sales and a presence in most of the Fortune 1000 companies.
