CRANBURY, N.J.-Broadbeam Corp. said it has announced a solution that brings Wi-Fi and wide area networks onto one seamless network.
The product, known as Uni-Fi, enables “mobile users to automatically connect and seamlessly switch to available Wi-Fi and 2G+ networks including 802.11a, b, and g, GPRS, GSM, 1xRTT, CDMA and new networks such as EV-DO and EDGE,” said the company.
The company’s MSS intelliSwitching product maintains the application while switching networks manage disconnects and re-connects.
