Flarion shows chipsets, modems

BEDMINSTER, N.J.-Flarion Technologies Inc. said it has introduced chipsets and modems for use in laptops, tablet PCs, personal digital assistants and handsets.

The company, which patents the Flash OFDM technology now on trial by some major operators around the world, says these products will allow major operators and terminal and device makers to enhance their broadband offerings.

“We now have a suite of connectivity options available across the licensed spectrum to help our customers bring mobile broadband to their enterprise and mass-market consumers, today and tomorrow,” said Bob Suffern, senior vice president of engineering and operations at Flarion.
