NEW YORK-Tele2 said it obtained 100-percent ownership in Russian GSM operator Sankt-Peterburg Telecom with the purchase of the remaining 14-percent stake in the company that Tele2 previously did not own. The value of the purchase was not disclosed.
The carrier operates in St. Petersburg, Russia’s second-largest city.
