DENVER-Qwest Communications International Inc. said it will begin offering all new digital subscriber line customers and small business subscribers a Wi-Fi-capable DSL model that the telecommunications provider said would save customers approximately $50 on their Wi-Fi network setup costs because the solution does not require additional hardware for the modem. Qwest said the device would be the 802.11g-compliant Actiontec Wireless DSL Gateway, which customers can purchase for $60 or rent for $3 per month.
