Rural Telecommunications Group names Bridges CEO

WASHINGTON-The Rural Telecommunications Group announced it has made Jessica Bridges its new chief executive officer.

Bridges previously served as director of government affairs for Bennet & Bennet P.L.L.C., responsible for legislative lobbying before the Federal Communications Commission and Congress on behalf of rural telecommunications firms. She also has experience with the National Telecommunications Cooperative Association and Special Reports for Telecommunications Reports Inc.

“I look forward to helping RTG continue in its growth, and assisting the organization with its membership expansion efforts, and building the infrastructure that will allow this organization to be the voice for rural wireless telecommunications companies throughout America,” said Bridges.

RTG also announced the formation of a board of directors. It will include Sandy Bromenschenkel, previous chairman of the RTG Business Committee, as president; Delbert Wilson of Central Texas communications as vice president; Bob Mauer of Cellular 29 Plus as treasurer; and Kathie Zentgraf of Zentgraf Consulting as secretary. Board members will include: Glenn Ishihara of Cleartalk, Kelly Bond of Public Service Cellular, Dave Fauske of Arctic Slope Telephone and Tanya Sullivan of Cobank.
