HELSINKI, Finland-Finnish companies Tecnomen and Nokia Corp. agreed to join forces to promote video mail services to the third-generation services market. The companies will ensure compatibility of Tecnomen’s Video Mail solution and Nokia’s 3G Core system.
Tecnomen said its Video Mail service is similar to tradition voice mail. Unanswered calls are forwarded to the video mail service, and callers will see subscribers’ personalized video greetings and can leave video messages. Subscribers are notified of messages and can view them via their 3G terminals.
