Cingular Wireless to debut new bill format in select markets

ST. LOUIS-Cingular Wireless this month is premiering a new monthly bill format intended to increase customer satisfaction and reduce questions about billing issues. The company said the new bill format is being introduced for customers in South Texas, Missouri and Kansas during the April billing cycle.

Cingular said the new format better categorizes information and moves the most relevant data to the first page of the bill. The changes were made based on input from customers and employee focus groups.

“Each of these enhancements addresses billing issues and suggestions that customers or employees have shared with us,” said Andy Shibley, vice president and general manager for Cingular Wireless in South Texas. “We are constantly looking for ways to improve the customer experience, and this update to our billing system is just one of many initiatives in our quest to provide products and services that ‘fit you best.’ “
