WARSAW, Poland-Lucent Technologies Inc. said Thursday it will supply CDMA2000 equipment to help expand a Polish wireless local loop network. SFERIA will use the equipment to further expand its network in Warsaw and the surrounding region.
Lucent will provide its Flexent Modular Cell base stations, as well as new software for existing base stations and mobile switching centers to increase SFERIA’s voice and data service.
The value of the contract was not disclosed.
