BEDMINSTER, N.J.-Up to six players will be able to compete in real time in Verizon Wireless’ latest arcade-style game, the company announced.
Verizon and Blue Ridge Games launched Momentum, a maze game in which players lead one of 18 characters through randomly generated maps, trying to reach their doors while preventing opponents from reaching theirs. The game features a monthly ranking system, an automatic matching system based on player level, and live chat in pre- and post-game lobbies.
Monthly competitions will also be available for Momentum, which can be downloaded onto several Verizon phones via the company’s “Get It Now” virtual store for $2.99 per month. New users will be offered a free one-day trial period for a limited time.
