Vodafone Group plc signed a long-term global framework agreement with billing and customer retention management provider Amdocs. The deal will position Amdocs as the global billing solutions provider for Vodafone’s worldwide operations, which currently include equity interests in 26 countries with a proportionate customer base of more than 133 million subscribers.
The new agreement specifies service levels, pricing and legal framework for all future projects between Amdocs and Vodafone companies worldwide and builds on Amdocs’ current relationships with a number of Vodafone subsidiaries, including Vodafone Hungary, Vodafone Ireland, Vodafone U.K., Vodafone Australasia and Vodafone Netherlands.
“Vodafone’s relationship with Amdocs will continue to develop and play a role in helping us maintain our position as the global provider of choice for service excellence and innovation,” said Thomas Geitner, chief technology officer at Vodafone.
Financial terms of the agreement were not released.
