DENVER-RCR Wireless News has hired two new staff members.
Colin Gibbs is the newest member of the RCR editorial team. He joins the staff as a reporter covering wireless data and content. Previously Gibbs was a reporter at both The Denver Post and The Denver Daily News. Before becoming a journalist he worked for several years in corporate wireless sales.
“Colin brings to the table a blend of top-notch writing and reporting skills combined with a basic understanding of the wireless industry. He is eager to immerse himself in the industry and we are pleased to add him to our staff,” said Tracy Ford, editor and associate publisher.
Dave Galuppo has joined the RCR Wireless News sales team. Galuppo will handle the Northeast sales region, including Virginia, Maryland and Washington D.C. area.
Galuppo brings a wealth of experience in telecom advertising space sales, having worked on Wireless Review and RF Design magazines at Primedia for the last four-and-a-half years.
“We are very excited to have Dave on the team. His professional manner and competitive spirit will be a great asset to our organization, and to his clients,” said Mary Pemberton, advertising director.
