SAN JOSE, Calif.-Mobile applications provider Xpherix Corp. said its Remo, iPhonebook and iDatebook applications are now available to Western Wireless Corp.’s Cellular One subscribers, Cellular South customers and Ntelos Inc. subscribers.
The Remo service allows wireless customers to access e-mail from seven different POP3 or IMAP accounts and synchronize contacts and calendar content from desktop applications, including Microsoft Outlook, Lotus Notes and Palm Desktop software.
iPhonebook and iDatebook provide access to contacts and calendar content as part of Remo’s core functionality or are offered as standalone applications.
Financial terms of the deal and cost of the applications were not released.
