CrystalVoice Communications, which provides enterprise voice communications software solutions, appointed Harvey White chairman of its board of directors. White most recently was chief executive officer of Leap Wireless.

Equant

Infrastructure services company Equant said Benoit Merel will become its acting chief financial officer. He replaces Jacques Kerrest, who is leaving the company. Merel’s telecom experience includes executive financial positions with France Telecom Group and audit firm Mazars.

Mobileway/InphoMatch

Following the merger of its two parent companies, Mobileway-InphoMatch announced its new executive team. Neville Street, formerly chief executive officer of InphoMatch, will become the merged company’s new CEO. Vince Tallent, formerly chief financial officer of Mobileway, will hold the same position at the merged company. Derek Tam, previously chief technology officer at InphoMatch, becomes CTO and head of global operations for the new company. Tam most recently was CTO at Macrobridge and OmniSky Corp. prior to joining InphoMatch. Mark Smith, formerly executive vice president at InphoMatch, becomes executive vice president of global peer-to-peer carrier sales at the merged company. He joined InphoMatch from Oracle. Bernadette Lyons, previously head of Mobileway’s Northern European operations, will become vice president of European application-to-person (A2P) sales at the merged company. Matthew Talbot, formerly director of Asia-Pacific at Mobileway, becomes vice president of A2P sales in Asia. Patrice McAree, formerly strategic adviser to Street, becomes vice president of A2P sales for North and South America. Patrice Peyret, formerly chief technology officer at Mobileway, becomes vice president of corporate strategy at the new company. Jorgen Nordin, formerly vice president of business development at InphoMatch, becomes vice president of product management. Larry Loper, previously vice president of marketing at Mobileway, becomes vice president of brand and investor relations. Greg Matranga, formerly director of marketing communications at InphoMatch, becomes vice president of communications.

Majesco

Gaming company Majesco said it has appointed Carl Yankowski chief executive officer and chairman of the board of directors. Yankowski’s experience includes positions with 3Com/Palm Inc., Sony Electronics Inc., General Electric, Pepsi-Cola and Procter & Gamble.

FCC

Jane Mago, chief of the Office of Strategic Planning and Policy Analysis at the Federal Communications Commission, is leaving the agency to become senior vice president-general counsel at the National Association of Broadcasters. Linda Blair, currently deputy chief of the Enforcement Bureau and deputy director of the FCC’s Homeland Security Policy Council, will serve as acting chief of the OSP.

GoAmerica

H. Edward Torres has been tapped to lead GoAmerica’s sales and marketing plans for its soon-to-be launched prepaid product portfolio. Torres brings 18 years of experience in prepaid and postpaid telecommunications to the company. Most recently he was co-owner and president of WorldNet Prepaid in New York. Prior to joining the telecom industry, Torres spent six years in senior sales executive positions with Coca-Cola and Proctor & Gamble.
