OVERLAND PARK, Kan.-Sprint Corp. reported a multi-year agreement with bakery products manufacturer and distributor Dawn Food Products Inc. to provide a portfolio of integrated telecommunications solutions, including Sprint PCS Connection Cards designed to use Sprint PCS’ wireless data network. Sprint added the PC Cards will enable Dawn’s mobile employees to access e-mail, inventory databases, order-entry systems and customer records from outside the office.
The agreement also includes customer-premise-equipment-based Internet Protocol Virtual Private Network services, Sprint managed the network services and global dial Internet access, as well as Sprint e-mail protection services for Dawn’s more than 1,100 employees.
Financial terms of the agreement were not released.
