NEW YORK-Mobile marketing company Enpocket appointed Mike Baker as president and chief operating officer, the company announced Monday.
Baker, a former executive vice president at Engage Technologies Inc. and former member of venture-capital firm GrandBanks Capital, will be responsible for executing Enpocket’s operations and directing the company’s strategy. Baker also will serve on the board of directors.
“After being supportive as a board advisor and friend since the company’s inception, it is the right time to have Mike join the Enpocket team,” said Enpocket Chief Executive Officer Jonathon Linner. “As we prepare for an expansion over the next 18 months, Mike brings with him the experience of building successful media companies, as well as a deep understanding of the telecommunications industry-a great addition to Enpocket’s leadership team.”
