HELSINKI, Finland-Wireless middleware provide First Hop said it closed its second round of funding for $8.9 million. Partech International was the lead investor, with existing investors DFJ ePlanet Ventures and Stratos Ventures also participating.
The financing will further speed up the company’s product development, customer service ramp-up and market expansion, First Hop said.
Helmut Schon, general partner at Partech , will join the First Hop board.
First Hop’s Wireless Broker product enables mobile operators and service providers to manage the end-to-end process of wireless content delivery.
