SEATTLE-Nextel Communications Inc. subsidiary Boost Mobile will offer mobile entertainment from developer and publisher Dwango Wireless, the companies announced Friday.
Dwango will provide downloadable Java-based titles featuring racing, blackjack, roulette and slots for $4.99 per game to subscribers through Boost Live, its mobile entertainment catalog. Boost is an exclusively prepaid service featuring push-to-talk service and is targeted at young users.
“The youth market demands products and services that meet their lifestyle needs, and the high-quality mobile entertainment content from Dwango is a terrific fit for Boost Mobile’s young, active customer base,” said Alexander Conrad, Dwango’s president and chief operating officer.
