BURNABY, British Columbia-WebTech Wireless said it has won a $1.8 million telematics contract in Saudi Arabia. Motabei Electronics System (MES) Co. Ltd., a major application service provider in Saudi Arabia, has agreed to purchase $1.8 million in WebTech products and monthly subscriber services during a two-year period.
The agreement was made through WebTech Middle East LLC. WebTech is delivering second-phase products and services this month. The first phase of the agreement with MES allowed WebTech to seed the Saudi Arabian fleet telematics market with a 100-unit market development system in May.<p
