GENEVA-Echovox Wireless launched a pan-European cross-network multimedia “chat” service.
Multimedia messaging service Group Chat users will be able to interact with other users in a chat room by sending both short message service and MMS messages in real time, according to the company. The service also allows picture, sound and video content.
Companies may brand and market the service under their own names, and Echovox said the solution can be ready to go live within 24 hours of installation. The company said it is ideal for services such as online dating agencies and Internet chat rooms that want to expand their reach via mobile channels.
