NEW ORLEANS-Content provider Turbo Squid launched a new discussion forum for developers creating three-dimensional content for the Java M3G platform.
The Mobile Developers Forum will help developers find solutions to technical issues, as well as allowing artists and other content creators to distribute their wares. Several experts from the M3G/JSR 184 platform have agreed to support the forums by providing technical information and participating in discussions.
As the forum evolves, mobile-ready three-dimensional content from Turbo Squid’s 7800 partners will be added.
“There is a significant need for leading-edge technological information in the mobile developer world,” said Ville Miettinen, chief technology officer for Hybrid Graphics, which is participating in the forum. “We are committed to using our technical expertise to assist the mobile game developers in discussing and understanding the many technical issues in creating content for mobile phones.”
