SEATTLE-M-commerce software developer Qpass announced Tuesday that it had acquired ucp morgen, a Vienna, Austria-based developer of content delivery software for network operators and content providers.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Qpass said it will use the acquisition to broaden its product line in an effort to encompass the management of the entire digital supply chain. The combined company will have 250 employees and will maintain global headquarters in Seattle with European headquarters in Vienna.
“Ucp morgen is a strong company with solid products that enable the marketplace for digital media and services,” said Chase Franklin, Qpass’ chief executive officer. “The strategic combination is an additional step of a long-term plan by Qpass to provide operators, portals and content providers with the means to rapidly grow revenues and deliver innovative new services.”
