CAMBRIDGE, United Kingdom-Cambridge Positioning Systems Ltd. launched its Enhanced Global Positioning System technology.
The technology combines GPS functionality with the company’s Matrix product, which uses synchronization signals from cellular base stations, to improve location accuracy. The company said E-GPS will improve GPS performance in GSM and W-CDMA networks.
