HAUPPAUGE, N.Y.-Cricket Communications Inc. announced it will sell the CDM-8910 camera phone from UTStarcom Inc. for $200.
“Given its cool form factor and wide range of features from a built-in digital camera to dozens of polyphonic ringers, we believe that the CDM-8910 will be a popular pick for Cricket subscribers,” said Nitu Arora, vice president of product development for Cricket. “These features combined with the phone’s compatibility with our Cricket Clicks service should appeal to many of our customers who are looking for the next ‘must-have’ phone.”
The tri-mode CDMA handset features Qualcomm Inc.’s MSM6050 chipset and GPSOne E911 Phase 2 technology.
