WARWICK, R.I.-Wireless broadband service provider ICOA Inc. said it signed a three-year agreement with the Norfolk Airport Authority for ICOA’s subsidiary Airport Network Solutions to provide public and private Wi-Fi services throughout the Norfolk, Va., International Airport terminal. ICOA noted that with the latest deal ANS’ network will be operational in nine airports.
The agreement calls for ICOA to provide design, deployment, management, maintenance and ongoing customer care, as well as a full suite of back-office solutions, including authentication, billing and reporting through ICOA’s AuthDirect subsidiary. Access to the network will cost $7 per day, with access to airport information, including flight schedules, ground transportation information, passenger services and security bulletins available free.
ICOA added that its network will also support iPass Inc. and Boingo Wireless Inc. customers through a roaming agreement.
