Mobliss, FremantleMedia to produce video content

SEATTLE-Mobliss Inc. and FremantleMedia Licensing Americas said they plan to produce a collection of made-for-mobile programs, including drama, comedy and reality programming.

According to the partnership, FremantleMedia will use its network of producers to create original Thumbdance Channel programs as well as provide content from its existing programming. Among FremantleMedia’s programs are “American Idol,” “The Price is Right” and “Da Ali G Show.”

The Thumbdance Channel will optimize video for mobile-phone screens. The first collection will be Baywatch Best Beach Moments.
