REDWOOD CITY, Calif.-Wireless phone operating system developer IXI Mobile Inc. announced that venture-capital firm Concord Ventures has invested $4.3 million in the company. IXI Mobile will use the funds to drive product development and fuel sales growth.
The company’s IXI-Connect OS was recently licensed by Sanyo for use in a series of mobile devices. IXI also delivers mobile messaging devices, including the Ogo, which was launched last year by AT&T Wireless Services Inc. (now Cingular Wireless L.L.C.).
