SEATTLE-Qpass said it signed a multi-year licensing agreement with U.S. Cellular Corp., allowing U.S. Cellular to use Qpass’ MultiMedia Album solution to provide a rich peer-to-peer photo, media and messaging experience for user- generated content such as photos, text and audio for its subscribers.
“The potential for peer-to-peer digital services, like mobile photos and messaging, is tremendous,” said Alan D. Ferber, vice president of marketing for U.S. Cellular. “We are pleased to be launching this exciting new suite of services for our customers with Qpass.”
The MultiMedia Album is a multimedia messaging solution that enables end users to create, edit and send photos and other multimedia messages, as well as organize and manage mobile media in an online personal archive.
