Mobile video firm Integrian secures $13M in new funding

RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C.-Integrian, which develops mobile digital video technology for public-safety, transportation and federal government markets, said it has secured $13 million in growth capital through a series B venture-capital investment.

The company said it will use proceeds of the financing to expand product development, enter new global markets and continue aggressive sales initiatives.

Polaris Venture Partners led the round. Dave Barrett, a general partner at Polaris, will join Integrian’s board of directors.

Also participating were existing vendors Intersouth Partners, Motorola Ventures and Wakefield Group. Dow Chemical also participated in the financing.
