TORONTO-Rogers Wireless Inc. together with Visto Corp. launched MyMail, a wireless service that provides instant two-way push-email, calendar and contacts to a customer’s wireless device.
Users who have a valid data service plan with Rogers can download the application over the air. Account activation and service setup can be completed on the user’s device, said the companies.
In addition to wireless e-mail, Microsoft Exchange and IBM Lotus Domino, users have access to synchronized, real-time calendar and contacts via either the Visto Enterprise Server or the Desktop Redirector Application.
The MyMail service is available now for the PalmOne Treo 650 and Treo 600 and the Audiovox SMT5600.
