LOS ANGELES-Jamdat Mobile Inc. said it has acquired the exclusive worldwide distribution rights to an adapted version of the game SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs from Sony Computer Entertainment America in a multiyear license agreement.
Terms of the agreement call for Jamdat to distribute SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs Mobile Recon for mobile phones in the United States, Europe, China, Japan and other markets.
“The SOCOM franchise has an enormous fan base of loyal players and casual gamers alike, making it an outstanding title for wireless,” said Mitch Lasky, chairman and chief executive officer of Jamdat.
Availability of the game depends on individual phone modes and wireless carriers.
