SAN JOSE, Calif.-Alereon and Intel Corp. demonstrated an integrated prototype running at 480 megabits per second for the wireless USB market at the Wireless USB Developers Conference this week.
The prototype included a WUSB Media Access Controller from Intel and a WUSB physical layer from Alereon. Alereon provided its AL4400-EVB UWB evaluation board for the demonstration.
Alereon is a fabless semiconductor company that is working on wireless solutions for the ultra-wideband and WUSB markets.
