DALLAS-MetroPCS Inc. said it has extended the expiration date for its previously announced cash tender offer and consent solicitation relating to its 10.75-percent senior notes due 2011 from May 24 until May 26.
The carrier said it had received valid tenders and consents from holders of the notes with respect to 100 percent of the outstanding principal amount, and that it extended the deadline so it would fall on the anticipated closing date of the financing. MetroPCS added that the previously announced consideration of $1,192.72 for each $1,000 principal amount of notes will not change.
MetroPCS offers wireless service in Miami, Atlanta, San Francisco and Sacramento, Calif., and has recently garnered numerous spectrum licenses covering parts of California and Florida through private deals and the recent Federal Communications Commission Auction 58.
