SAN JOSE, Calif.-Mobile marketing company iLoop Mobile Inc. will team with software developer Cenuco Inc. to deliver live streaming video and still slide shows to mobile phones, the companies said Tuesday.
The service will offer content from sporting and entertainment events, and will integrate iLoop’s short messaging service-based marketing services with Cenuco’s streaming video technology. The companies demonstrated the offering earlier this month at the National Lacrosse League championship game.
“The ability for fans to view live video of a sporting event, a rock concert, or still images of their favorite players in the field or performer on stage really adds a new level of interactivity at spectator events,” said Jordan Serlin, Cenuco’s president. “Now, fans can feel like they are part of an event even if they aren’t there in person.”
