MENLO PARK, Calif.-Followap Inc., which provides presence and instant messaging solutions, announced it has released its iFollow Presence Platform for next-generation networks.
The latest release of the platform is designed to operate on Internet Protocol Multimedia Subsystem core networks, said the company. The platform supports all presence and IM standard protocols of second-generation, 2.5-generation and third-generation networks, including Wireless Village, SIP/SIMPLE, PAM and XMPP, said Followap.
The company also closed a series C financing, which was led by Sequoia Capital. Carmel Ventures, Star Ventures, ICTech and Koor CVC also participated in the funding round.
