ATLANTA, Ga.-SK-EarthLink announced it will sell the Treo smart phone from PalmOne Inc. through retailer OfficeMax. The device will sell for $450, with calling plans starting at $40 per month and Internet access for $20 per month.
“The EarthLink Wireless Treo 650 smart phone with exclusive TotalAccess software is perfect for mobile professionals and a logical product line extension for OfficeMax as it already serves the small and medium business and satellite, home office market,” said Brent Cobb, executive vice president of strategy and business development for SK-EarthLink. “This agreement allows us to strengthen and expand our nationwide retail strategy, and we look forward to a long and successful partnership with OfficeMax.”
Wireless is quickly becoming a hot item in retail stores like RadioShack and Best Buy.
