In-Fusio launches white-label portal

BORDEAUX, France-Wireless game publisher In-Fusio unveiled a “white label” mobile portal designed to allow companies to market content directly to consumers.

The French game-maker launched the mobile Media Access Portal (mMAP), a Java-based offering that can be downloaded or embedded on a handset. Carriers, media companies and other brands can use the platform as a storefront for mobile content and as a wireless advertising channel.

In-Fusio will market the application to companies looking to enter the wireless content market or add channels to existing services.

“MMap has been conceived as a complete end-to-end solution, created to promote and sell wireless content and services through a downloadable user-friendly interface,” said Mark Lefour, In-Fusio’s executive vice president of player services. “Combined with the In-Fusio expertise in outsourced managed services, mMap overcomes one of the main hurdles in our industry: easy access for anyone to the most varied content.”

In a separate announcement, the publisher said it is distributing a wireless game based on the Tour de France. The title is available through European carriers and also will be offered in China.
